The hallmark with the initials "P.T." (Porzellanfabrik Tirschenreuth) was used from 1903 onwards.
The inscription "Germany" indicates that the piece was manufactured after 1887, as this marking became mandatory for exports to England and its colonies.
The factory was acquired by Lorenz Hutschenreuther AG in 1927 and continued to operate as a subsidiary.
Hallmarks with the inscription "Bavaria" or "Made in Germany" without specifying the occupation zones usually date from before 1934 or after 1953. However, this particular hallmark with a crown and the letters P and T within a shield is attributed to the period 1930–1953.
