These antique tea and coffee sets (cup and saucer) were produced between 1855 and 1899 by Krister Porzellan-Manufaktur (KPM), not the more famous Royal Porcelain Manufactory of Berlin (KPM Berlin).

The condition is average, with visible signs of use and the gold plating is showing signs of wear. No chips, cracks, or damage. Distinguishing features of the hallmark

KPM Krister Marking: The hallmark, consisting of the letters KPM with a simple vertical line between the K and P, is a trademark of Krister Porzellan-Manufaktur. Krister, founded in 1831 in Waldenburg (now Wałbrzych, Poland), imitated the style and hallmarks of KPM Berlin, but used a vertical line instead of the famous scepter.

KPM Berlin Marking: Genuine KPM Berlin pieces typically feature the cobalt-blue scepter from the Brandenburg coat of arms, applied under the glaze. KPM Berlin pieces made after 1837 also typically include the letters KPM, and from the mid-19th century, an eagle or imperial orb (orb with cross) were also included.

The KPM mark with a vertical line, as seen on these pieces, was used by Krister Porzellan-Manufaktur between 1855 and 1899.

Value: The value of Krister porcelain depends greatly on the condition, rarity, and intricacy of the decoration.
