Germany. Bavaria. Trio (cup, plate, saucer). Manufacture - Oscar Schaller was the founder of a renowned porcelain factory in Schwarzenbach an der Saale, Bavaria. The factory, founded in 1882 as Oscar Schaller & Co., produced household porcelain tableware and coffee linens.
In 1917, the company was acquired by the Winterling brothers (Gebr. Winterling), who continued to expand the business under the name Oscar Schaller & Co. Nachfolger (Successors of Oscar Schaller & Co.). The company became the main subsidiary of the Winterling group, and its products, including tea and coffee sets, enjoyed great popularity.
